Working with acrylic paint , I like to explore texture and brush strikes to represent both realistic and expressionist images. I also am drawn to multi media and abd adding objects and texture to my paintings.
Where do you find inspiration?After a robust career as a clinical art therapist - and years of art making, I am challenged by vision impairment . A terrible thing for an artist! However, I am flourishing in painting more painterly broad brush stokes with acrylics - compared to the more detailed ink and watercolor sketches in my previous art . My inspiration is light and love of internal expression as I’ve come to see all vision as illusion ;-)
What would you do with $25,000?I would create a more ideal studio space to work in myself. And …donate to local art center to inspire emerging artistss
