My love for creating art helps me process this world and navigate it with meaning and mindfulness. Creating art is my sanctuary.

Receive Text UpdatesCurrently my favorites are acrylic and oil paints. I also love adding textiles, paper, charcoal, and since I love to crochet, I am working a project that incorporates that as well.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration through everyday moments. My two grandsons inspire me. My children's words of encouragement and love for me and my art inspire me. My ancestors inspire me by leaving me the blessings of memories - experiences that can be shared through my artwork. My community, my small circle of friends inspire me. My southern roots family inspires. My culture, my southern upbringing in an urban city has given me the best of both worlds to pull inspiration from.
What would you do with $25,000?Sponsor an art program at my church. My art is my full time job, so I would invest in my business. I would invest in an affordable studio space.
