I love creating art because it feels good. I channel my energy and ideas into something that speaks to people in ways words alone cannot.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
‘Transformational Energy Art’ is my favorite type of art to create. I consider it artwork that has the intention and ability to uplift people, places, and spaces. I mix science and spirituality into the work with that specific intention. When I work from that place, images, words and concepts drop in. There is a synergy that takes place, the creative spirit speaks. I listen; it tells me what it wants. This co-creation is my absolute favorite.
Where do you find inspiration? My purest inspiration comes when I am in nature, when I am quiet and still. That's when it all drops in, and I love it. It is so simple, so pure and so easy. The challenge is giving myself the space to allow it to drop in. I see connections between all things: colors, lines, life, concepts, spirituality, philosophical ideas, cultures, people, everything. I find inspiration everywhere.
What would you do with $25,000?I would load up on art supplies and focus on several pet projects. I want to create a larger 12 foot crystal pyramid with amazing stonework: quartz, black and blue kyanite, citrine, jade, marble, and amethyst. Second on the list is to curate a show called, “Show us Your Pearls”. This show would focus on the gift of knowledge you would share if you had no more time on earth. What pearls of wisdom would you share and why? The written work to accompany the visual art would be required.
