I create to connect with others, to define a shared experience we can all gather around. I want my work to ask questions. Not Answer them.

I like all kinds of art. I’m a formally trained printmaker, I have worked with many diverse techniques, including inkjet transfers, pointillist painting, and large-scale wallpaper installations. My current body of work focuses on pointillism techniques and color theory. My goal is to create retina images that hold you in aesthetic arrest while allowing the viewer to imagine and question their place and space in this world. I use aesthetics to draw viewers into difficult conversations.
Where do you find inspiration?I am interested in belief systems that shape human perception. I use light as a metaphor for cognitive blindness, where beliefs obscure and truth blinds. My work captures fleeting moments of blinding light, headlights in fog, and a sunrise through a frosted window, to show how beauty can blind. I am inspired by color, I use a seductive color palette to depict the unsettling realities of our lives
What would you do with $25,000?I would use these resources to create new work. $25,000 would fund my sabbatical, paint, and supplies, allowing me to focus on a new series. I have ideas for other large works, including a 6’ x 8’ piece called ‘Inferno’ depicting a wall of firewalls fire. Also a sister piece titled ‘Deluge,’ which would depict a torrent of rain
