I get to bring something into existence that’s never been seen before.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I gravitate toward cinematic, ocean-inspired photography—work that feels like a moment pulled from a film. I'm drawn to light at sunrise and dusk, movement in water, and scenes that carry emotion, solitude, and quiet adventure. My art leans into storytelling, where waves, sky, and atmosphere become the mood, not just the background.
Where do you find inspiration?I create from the perspective of a wanderer—someone moving through the world with intention, not attachment. I’m drawn to overlooked beauty: shifting water, quiet horizons, in-between moments people pass by. But it isn’t just about what’s out there—it’s about projecting an inner universe onto real places, turning emotion, memory, and imagination into something tangible.
What would you do with $25,000?Use $25K as a system, not spending. Put $10–12K into myself: better gear, focused shoots, and building a portfolio/brand. Use $6–8K to partner with one or two local businesses to create cinematic photo/video content in exchange for pay and exposure. Put $4–6K toward a noble cause like the Coral Restoration Foundation, Reef Renewal USA, and Florida Keys Wild Bird Center by documenting or supporting their work. Keep $2–3K as a buffer. Turn money into momentum.
