My work is a drive to change perspectives and how we see the world and others. It's a chance to bring more color and excitement in our lives
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My work focuses on a male figures and portraits, and at times from a "Point of View Perspective." Hyperrealism isn't important as I use bright and abstract color combinations to create skin tones resulting in what I define as "neon surrealism." Color and portraits provide a greater space of creativity and a creative chance to show emotion.
Where do you find inspiration? My work is a reflection of my life and culture, and how they are represented and experienced. At times it blurs the line of what is art and erotic and is a visualization of what isn't seen behind closed doors to push the theme of "Point of View Perspective."
What would you do with $25,000?Ideally, I would like to put some into retirement, pay off a portion of debt, and back into my own artwork. However, the large goal is to invest into starting a non-profit art collaborative to promote and celebrate local artists as studio and gallery space; And provide weekly/monthly/quarterly events and activities for the community for all ages.
