You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is anything that tells a story—especially pieces that come from real experiences and emotion or personal requests. I love to see other’s ideas come to life in a way they didn’t think was possible!
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in real-life struggles—my own and the people around me. I’ve grown up around chaos and come from a broken home and instead of letting it stay pain, I turn it into purpose. My art is how I process it and give it meaning. And as an emotional outlet . My inspiration comes from real-life struggles—my own and the people around me. I’ve learned to turn pain into purpose, and my art is how I give those experiences meaning.I don’t just create to be seen I create so it can be felt
What would you do with $25,000?If I’m awarded the $25,000, I would invest in an iPad and Apple Pencil to continue growing my creative abilities and pushing my work further. The rest would go toward supplies and resources for Urban Echoes, helping me expand what I’m building and create opportunities for others to express themselves through art and storytelling. My goal isn’t just to create—it’s to give back, inspire, and turn something real into something that can help others
