There is an inner peace created by the free thought and creation of art. I am visually impaired and I absolutely love expressing creativity.

Art that features nature. Mostly painting with acrylic paint. I generally do large canvas paintings now do to my inability to safely navigate a ladder. My home is covered in murals inside and out. My use of color is also a tool that I love to use. There is much around my home that is also art and it includes designing my landscape to share love.
Where do you find inspiration? The color bursts began with Pintrist and Mexican art. I like to draw and sometimes those images lead to paintings. I believe that all expression is a form of art. I am not a trained artist, but for me it is much like a form of meditation that brings peace while there is much chaos in the world.
What would you do with $25,000?That is a difficult question. I would likely give at least a portion of it to help with a local organization attempting to help the homeless. I also need to fix the foundation of my home and put some of it on art supplies. After that there is an art project I have been trying to get going for several years to help with critical thinking skills for the next generations of leadership. I am a retired teacher.
