I create because it's always been a part of me. It's a way I can share my inner self, my experiences to those that want to engage & explore.

I enjoy mixed media art since I love to experiment and explore different mediums, materials & textures. I am inspired by nature and all forms of creativity, such as music, poetry, dance and theater and try to incorporate those inspirations into the expression of my artwork. I don't believe in limiting my sense of creativity, there is always so much to explore, to enjoy the journey of creativity which in a sense is my spirit expressing and sharing my true self to others.
Where do you find inspiration?I know I answered it in the previous question but all forms of creativity, nature and people, too! The observation and interaction with others fascinates me. I love blending creativity. My last exhibition, I took my personal poetry & created artwork around it, then performed the poetry in collaboration with a musician and a dancer. Having all those forms of creativity among my artworks was such a deep moment. I also feel we must be our own inspiration, for our experiences is what helps shape us.
What would you do with $25,000?Wow! How grateful I would be to be able to continue in holding space and workshops surrounding art for those in my community. I believe we should use our gifts to be of service to others, whether to inspire them, help discover or grow in their skills, and as a form of healing and expression. I hold sessions in art and wellness now, and it would be a way to continue & level up what I can do to offer more. To share of myself in my own creativity to others has always been a part of my life.
