Where do you find inspiration?NATURE and its color, line, & form peaks my inspiration. The permission I give myself to PLAY and let loose, to throw paint around drives everything. I rarely know where I’m going, what I’m going to paint when I start. Simply “showing up” every day brings courage & inspiration, creative accidents happen and my energy flows!
What would you do with $25,000?I would cast one of my hand-carved black walnut sculptures in bronze. I already have it scanned and ready for production, but need the $ for casting. I would also paint a series of over-sized canvases but need a larger space. I’ve outgrown my studio space here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’m ready to expand and this would help it to happen!
