My work moves between photography and writing. I’m obsessed with capturing real moments: gazes, streets, silences. As a photographer, I look for what is raw, honest, and often overlooked. As a writer and poet, I transform those images into words that deepen the emotion. My art is born from starting over as a migrant; it is a blend of memory, identity, and transformation.
Where do you find inspiration?In the streets, in early mornings, in trains, in tired faces, and in the small details others ignore. I find inspiration in my own process: leaving a country, adapting, rebuilding myself. Also in silence, nostalgia, and everything that remains unspoken. Everyday life is my raw material.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use that money to push my work as a photographer and writer, but above all to prove that it is possible. To create real projects—photography and poetry—that reflect the process of starting from zero as a migrant. More than investing in things, I would invest in a message: that with perseverance, focus, and discipline, you can live from what you love. That our story is not a limitation, it is the starting point.
