Right at this moment I’ve been enjoying painting with oils. I don’t have a specific type, I like to try it all explore every aspect of the artistic experience as much as I can.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes primarily from within, from my subconscious and from the experiences that have altered my perception of reality. I don’t begin with a fixed concept or a clear image of what I want to make. Instead, I begin with a search. A search for a new visual language, a new way to open communication with that inner, often hidden part of myself.
What would you do with $25,000?The money would have an immediate and practical impact on my ability to continue creating. One of the main uses would be to help cover the rent of my art studio. The cost of the art supplies that make my art possible. I would also use part of the funds to document and share my work more effectively.It would strengthen my ability to continue on the path I am already committed to, allowing me to deepen my practice and bring new work into the world with greater focus and stability.
