Anything with a lot of colour and a grunge feel. Always with a strong positive aura. Also like to make pieces showing injustices and struggles people on the island go through because most people are afraid to get blackballed by voicing their opinions. Acrylic, oil pastels, airbrush, charcoal any medium pretty much.
Where do you find inspiration? From the greats. From everyday life. From the kids I teach. From cultural phenomena. Every painting has a different inspiration. But to the create art the inspiration came from seeing so many people work their whole lives for someone other than themselves. I wanted to create something that is true to me and that could connect me with similar minded people based on the feelings of raw expression.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to buy a container and make it into an art studio. Also buy materials that aren’t available on the island and of course to setup exhibitions globally. All of it will be invested straight back into the art cause that’s all I do
