I'm often inspired by imagery, mythology, stories and themes from modern media and ancient culture.

I love to work across both digital and physical mediums. My digital pieces are entirely hand-drawn and original—created by me, not AI—and serve as my primary form of expression after losing the ability to hold traditional tools. I also create physical work using natural materials such as metal, silver, brass, leather, feathers, beads, and sinew.
Where do you find inspiration? The confluence of stories of my Melungeon heritage—a multi-ethnic Appalachian identity rooted in Indigenous, African, & European ancestry—& the ancient and modern archetypes of women. By weaving myths passed down from my elders w/ legacies of figures like Buffalo Calf Road Woman, Lozen, Lilith, & Molly Pitcher, I highlight a Continuum of sexuality & agency. My work comments on the state of women, drawing direct lines between ancestral resilience and modern movements like MMIWG & Pussy Riot.
What would you do with $25,000?I will invest in my own accessibility tools and adaptive technologies; and create scholarships for other marginalized artists—funding software, equipment, for both online and physical showings so people facing economic or physical barriers can make, exhibit, and own their work.
