Film is my favorite art form because it can render delicacy through image while weaving music, gesture, camera, sound, silence, and objects into one expressive whole. I also love that filmmaking is collaborative. A film carries the sensibilities and labor of many hands, and that collective process becomes another artwork in itself.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in small, precious human gestures: the way someone pours water for another, folds a shirt with care, or hides sorrow behind courtesy. I am drawn to quiet behavior because it often reveals the deepest truths. Inspiration rarely arrives through spectacle. It comes softly, through observation, tenderness, and the subtle ways people endure and love.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 as the foundation for developing my first feature film. It would support writing, research, and early visual development, while giving me the rare gift of time to work with rigor rather than haste. More than funding, it would create space to build a film of emotional precision and lasting human resonance.
