As an Expressionist, I believe that while my works belong to the people, they also hold a part of my very being. When someone allows themselves to feel so deeply through a piece, that work becomes their own. And empathy blossoms. My works and writings have enabled those willing to step outside their comfort zones—and truly engage with the art—to heal and to foster a renewed sense of growth in their perspectives toward both themselves and others.
Where do you find inspiration?It lies within the everyday lives of people—specifically when they allow themselves to set aside their masks, shadows, and egos. These are situations and circumstances that I observe with attentiveness and empathy, transforming them into a bridge: a passage toward both a shift in perspective and a transformation of the very concept of empathy currently held within our society.
What would you do with $25,000?They would serve as an investment fund for my education, and the gateway to launching my projects.
