Creating art has always been about more than just the finished product for me—it’s about transformation.

My favorite type of art to create is custom automotive creations items and trim/upholstery. There’s something incredibly rewarding about taking a vehicle—especially classic cars and hot rods—and designing the project and interior that matches its personality while elevating it beyond what people expect. From traditional pleated vinyl and leather work to full custom interiors, I enjoy blending classic techniques with modern creativity. Pay homage to the past while moving forward.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everywhere, but a big part of it comes from the history and culture of custom cars. I draw heavily from traditional hot rods, classic builds, and the pioneers who set the standard for craftsmanship. My time at WyoTech helped build that foundation, teaching me not just the technical skills but also the appreciation for the craft and its legacy. I also find inspiration in everyday life—architecture, fashion, textures, and even conversations with clients and friends.
What would you do with $25,000?To me, being “The People’s Artist” means creating work that resonates with everyday people while also giving back and helping others grow. My journey—from WyoTech to building a career in custom fabrication and upholstery—has shown me the value of opportunity and mentorship. I’d use that $25,000 to not only elevate my own work but to help open doors for others who share the same passion for creating.
