All forms of art I love, but when it comes to painting, portraiture has my heart! Being able to capture the essence and soul of a person is the best challenge, evoking emotion from the viewer just by capturing this presence brings me joy!??
Where do you find inspiration?Honestly, my inspiration is around me EVERY DAY. As a Teacher/Mentor, my students inspire me with their personalities and how they express their experiences, struggles, passions, etc. My husband and children inspire me daily with their own passions and perspective on life! Lastly, pulling from my life experiences helps to fuel the concepts I focus on, and expressing these things through art is healing for the soul!??
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest into my family, my students, and my art career so I can continue to impact my community for the better, with added opportunities to create spaces to help others develop in the arts! Restorative impact is my hearts desire!?
