I create art because it is a reflection of my thoughts. I accentuate eyes because I feel they reflect how you feel and see the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract art. I love using color in my art that reflects my Haitian heritage. I love using multi medium when creating. I feel adding objects to my paintings bring them to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I listen to different genre of music that helps me create. The classical artists Picasso, Van Gogh, Matisse, Monet give me inspiration. The modern artist such as Akashi Murakami, Frida Kahlo, Salvador Dali, yap Kusama, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and my favorite Jean Michel Basquiat style can be seen in my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would secure a studio for myself. I would like to do art therapy for children because I used art for relaxation and I think it would be good for children to be able to express themselves. This comes from personal experience from having ADHD, anxiety and depression.
