Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the spirit of survival. An inexplicable source of wanting to share ideas, emotions and even nostalgia through my creative art expressions. I paint to survive a world that does not seem to believe that art is life for me and for so many other. I’m inspired in the amazing formations of clouds and sunsets as well as the broken languages of rocks, concrete and human hearts. I dwell deeply as I create my abstractions in the interplay of music and architecture. I’m inspired by Jesus.
What would you do with $25,000?Start my own school of art survival. I call it The Art Chapel. A place to offer to people ‘moments’ to find and embrace their art hunger and spirit. A place for me to educate, create my own expressions and celebrate daily art that welcomes people to celebrate creativity. I see this building/place architecturally alive with many walls and surfaces primed for students to create with me and my people loving art and design educator friends.
