My current project is painting portraits of people I see everyday while doing everyday things. Portraits Without Names with a sense of humor

I create intuitive, mixed media abstract work focused on color, texture, and emotional expression. Through layering and mark-making, I explore the complexity of the human experience, allowing each piece to emerge organically between control and freedom.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from nature, modern abstraction, and the emotional nuances of everyday life. Influenced by artists like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, and Henri Matisse, I translate feeling into color, texture, and layered composition. I don’t paint what I see-I create what I feel.
What would you do with $25,000?The $25,000 would allow me to expand my mixed media practice, create larger and more ambitious work, and further explore the emotional depth of my process through color and texture. I would also invest in teaching and community workshops, creating opportunities for others to engage with art and develop their own creative voice. This support would strengthen both my studio practice and my ability to share art as a meaningful and transformative experience.
