Art is my happy place. It gives me peace and teaches me patience. I strive to learn all aspects and to create through various mediums.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I do a variety of art just to push myself to learn. I think my favorite is landscapes from oceans to mountains. Landscapes take me to the place I am painting. I do commissions for pets and people as well
Where do you find inspiration?I live on the coast of Texas and there is no lack of inspiration. I take photos of the pelicans and seagulls while riding the ferry to Galveston. There are rosette spoonbills right out my window in the creek. Other inspirations come from free reference photos in social groups and I can get inspiration from all over the world. Our world is quite beautiful.
What would you do with $25,000?My home is quite small and I would get better organization for my studio. More art supplies are always in need. An artist cannot have too many brushes. I often do art shows and the fees can be high so this will help. I would also love to get funds to advertise my art as well.
