I love creating pots because every piece has character like people. The shape, size and design. Most of all I want it to become a dying art

Receive Text UpdatesI love making traditional pottery. The style of pottery I make is an art that was instinct and was revived in the late 1860s.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from my mentor who since passed, and those whom lived before us. I also find inspiration from other artist, when I see what they created, it touches my heart. Just to think how our creativity is so different from one another. I love to read biographies of any type of artist. That also inspires me because we all go thru struggles, frustrations and in the end it's beautiful.
What would you do with $25,000?Build a studio, I work in my bedroom. I want a place where I can have more room. And my biggest dream is to teach pottery to local people. I don't want it to be a dying art. I also do a lot of demonstrations for groups and private individuals. I would like to have them come to my home and really see my studio. My biggest is to expand my art shows outside of Az. Shows like this would require airplane flight purchases. My big goals. ♥️
