I create because it is life and healing to me. Through my creations, I open myself to the pureness of what I am.

I find creating mixed media art most challenging and immensely rewarding. Finding the balance between spirit, researched and found materials always leads me to artistic expressions and experiences I could not imagine. Rarely do I have in mind a creative outcome. Remaining fluid, for me, is more rewarding than attempting to dictate a design/outcome, whether I am creating a couture piece, an abstract painting, a wall or ceiling mural, or avant garde jewelry pieces.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from nature, animals, photography, cinema, architecture, interior designs, couture clothing, other artists' fearlessness and from music. I am mostly inspired in hours of silence where I feel most open to the voice of my own soul.
What would you do with $25,000?I will publish a book of a retrospective look at my art, travel to Morocco, Australia and Costa Rica to explore the culture for future creative works. I will expand my studio and purchase art supplies.
