Doug Gialluca

I love to create art because it connects me to source and teaches me to remember things that I didn’t know I forgot. One eureka at a time..

What is your favorite type of art to create?

I like to create art which mimics flora from other worlds. I try to take atmospheric qualities into account when designing the pieces so that you can imagine the environment based on the specimen(s)

Where do you find inspiration?

I find most of my inspiration on walks, when I practice archery, writing music, or riding..pretty much anything where meditation meets repetition. Essentially Sufism, Routine paves the way for a new subject.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would travel overseas and work with as many collectives as 25k would fund. I would learn as much as possible and teach at the same time. Italy, Bali, and the Channel Islands for a start. I lived in Guernsey when I was younger and would like to return for a bit to check out the studios there, Perhaps start my own there if the island is still as gorgeous as I remember.
