I don’t have a particular favorite. Every medium and form of artistic expression has its time and place depending upon what is called for. Each with its own unique characteristics, challenges and ease. When doing lost wax casting for my jewelry work, I get a particular adrenaline buzz when the silver comes to flow point temperature and poured under optimum vacuum. The timings of events are very sharp and critical.
Where do you find inspiration?Often dream visions of sorts. Premonitions put to pencil and paper that come manifest into the waking state material. Living at 8500 feet in altitude in the Colorado Rockies, surrounded by a raw rugged wilderness provides great atmosphere and scenery for inspiration and creative endeavors. Raising and fostering both a baby crow and a baby raven into adulthood maturity and the relationship that grew and grows from that, has brought me inspiration in storytelling through 2-dimensional visual art.
What would you do with $25,000?That would buy me the time of 6 months to a year of more time focused on producing art and music. Less time doing carpentry and building for my bread n butter.
