I have been creating art since I was a child in my bedroom. I create to make people laugh, push boundaries and to inspire others.

It varies, as I am both a visual and performance artist. That said, my last art show was a series of lowbrow pop surrealism paintings which were very illustrative by design. Reminiscent of old EC Comics and western movie posters from a bygone era. Think Tex Ritter and Gene Autry with a pinch of Albert Victor Adamson Jr.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in various places, everything from Count Dracula to the great state of Texas & the power of the spoken word. My most recent exhibition was called Modern Americana and was a mash-up of pop culture, particularly old western TV shows from the 50’s and 60’s and B-horror & sci-fi films. Today I feel inspired by headlines and the shifting geopolitical landscape, so who knows where that will take me.
What would you do with $25,000?I have just moved back to the US after 10 years abroad in Glasgow, Scotland. I’m feeling a bit out of place these days, not sure where I belong anymore, with one exception; the art studio. I would use the money to get a new studio and produce works that reflect these feelings of displacement amidst growing social unrest. That said, I'll probably put an atomic age, happy lipsticked smile on it because, who doesn't like a pretty smile and the smooth full flavor of a Newport Cigarette.
