Where do you find inspiration?I don’t draw inspiration from a single source, because life isn’t one story. It lives in overlooked moments a lingering glance, an unfinished sentence, a quiet feeling that leaves a mark. I’m inspired not by comfort, but by conflict what people hide, suppress, or cannot say. That’s where the real story exists. Cinema begins there: not in what you show, but in what you make people feel. That’s what I follow the unseen.
What would you do with $25,000?I am an activist filmmaker, artist, and writer seeking asylum in the United States with my spouse. Because of our work and beliefs, we faced the threat of execution in Iran and were forced to leave. Today, we live with uncertainty and the risk of being sent back. If I receive this award, I will send $5,000 to support my family who suffered deeply, and donate $20,000 to protect immigrant artists' rights. This is not just support-it is a chance to survive and keep creating.
