I create art because I have so many ideas constantly plaguing my inspiration and if I don’t get them onto canvas I lose sleep! True Passion

I love creating in multiple styles. I use, acrylic, oil, and charcoal but my favorite is oil. I love creating figures in motion, whether it be a western cowboy riding or Ronnie Lott about to deliver a hit, oil is so rich and permanent and takes a patience like no other. The subjects I truly love painting are ones that can only exist in the form of paint on canvas. Not something that would do just the same amount of justice as a photograph, but something that deserves the craftsmanship.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life. Turning off the inspiration is harder than receiving it because I receive it all day every day. I could drive past a tire shop and see equal beauty in it as a breathtaking seascape. God has wired me to see the world as art, and I just translate it to canvas. I believe inspiration comes from how you look at the world and how you exist in it. I see beauty in a close-up cigarette and I see beauty in the eye of a lion, staring back at you.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it all into my art. I would finally be able to open my dream shop where I could work on multiple pieces at once and hopefully have enough space to air out the oil paint fumes. I’ve been working out of a small room and sometimes the garage so having a space dedicated to painting, would take my creativity to an untapped new level.
