Art is my therapy and every face is a new muse with a unique story to tell. Creating art helps me see the world and my place in it.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love portraiture and finding that uniqueness in each person that makes them who they are. It’s a process that is always a discovery, I’m never sure if I’ve captured it, that all depends on who sees it and what they read into it. If they see themselves and their own humanity reflected in a portrait of another, then I guess I’ve done my job.
Where do you find inspiration? All around me. I draw constantly. Every person I see interests me. I am never bored when I had a sketchbook in my pocket and a pen in my hand.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d organise an exhibition and finally compile my work into an art book.
