I make art to get away from the word. When I’m painting I’m free and I’m wrapped in a shell of peace.

I love grabbing my art bag (random supplies of paint, pastels, odds, and ends) and slowly working on a canvas. I like to think I have a abstract, realistic, street style.
Where do you find inspiration? My faith, life, pain, happiness, depression, art is literally my healing process. I’ve poured so much into some of my paintings. It’s like being on a long hike all day with dirt and grime on you. You finally shower and you wash the whole day away. That’s the healing I’ve gotten from painting. You wash all your pain or happiness away into a painting. To have someone relate and feel that same healing from my art is inspiring.
What would you do with $25,000?I would help my mother. She’s been through a lot and has help me no matter what. I’d buy a car (something gas efficient) and go to school to continue my education with art and graphic design
