All of my favorite works I’ve done have a main focus on highlighting the hidden details and beauty in everyday life that gets overlooked. There is so much joy and wonder around us that we lose focus of as we grow older, unless we take our time and look around. That’s part of why I do what I do.
Where do you find inspiration?Living. There’s emotions and feelings that cannot be captured by words or photos, yet I can come to a more complete understanding of these moments through the practice of art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to help pay for my schooling/student loans. It would help me tremendously when considering future options on how to continue my studies in art. Like being able to do a semester in Italy, while studying the masters. But I would also save a portion in hopes to help me in the future, and to give back to my mom, who always supported my dreams of pursuing art despite what others would say.
