I am a Native American artist and I paint indigenous people of North America to preserve their culture and their traditions.

Indigenous people of North America and the wildlife of North America in their natural habitat. Ceremonial dances and legends of the Native American peoples. Action paintings of the North American wildlife. My artwork is done in watercolor medium. It is very detailed to depict the essence of the very soul of each person and animal I paint. I start each painting with the eyes, which are the window to the soul.
Where do you find inspiration?I go to the various Native American reservations and ceremonies, such as sweat lodges and naming ceremonies. I was invited to a Sundance ceremony. I travel to the National Parks such as Yellowstone, Glacier, and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, to name a few. I contemplate my art by walking the trails in these parks to find the right mood for the painting I will create. This is a very spiritual motivation I put myself into.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to donate a portion of this to the Wild Mustang Foundation to help preserve these magnificent animals from extinction, aiding in the necessary care they need to survive.
