Freedom.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Written word is my favorite art form; my medium is music. I consider myself a writer first, concept composer second and singer third. Vanity has no place in rock. True rock music is deserving of our resurrection and that’s what fuels me. I love to focus on accountability as most people are too immersed in the world to separate themselves from it. I’ll never stop making music because I’ve come to the conclusion that it might be the only way to change the world. Freedom is always under attack.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration moment to moment. On the spectrum of creator versus consumer, I find myself to be 88% creator. This concept in and of itself keeps me motivated to remain aware. I moved away from New Orleans two years ago and have had little human contact in that time outside of my music endeavors. I find being friends with deskers and normies impossible. I find surface level conversation an atrocity towards our time here. I don’t live like other people and often times I’m labeled ”intense”.
What would you do with $25,000?if awarded money, my team would receive a very unexpected bonus. Everyone involved in my music shows up because we believe that the world can be a better place. We work long hours, respectfully argue, and continue to show up as if we’re drafting the constitution. It has taking me three years to find the right combination of people and teamwork is everything. Winning this contest would be a victory for persistence in self rather than commercial success.
