I create art to express, heal, and connect—honoring memory, nature, and ancestry, and sharing creativity as medicine, joy, and freedom.

I work across multimedia practices including painting, photography, poetry, wearable art, visual design, film, ceramics, and embodied storytelling. My practice is interdisciplinary and process-driven, often shaped by intuitive movement, symbolism, and healing-based inquiry. I’m interested in how art can move between body, object, and environment—especially through relationships to nature, the ocean, and lived experience. Where memory and emotion become material for exploration.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from natural systems, the ocean, dreams, music, celestial imagery, and ancestral memory, particularly through my Creole and Guatemalan lineage. I draw from Surrealism, Art Nouveau, folklore, textile traditions, and cinema, alongside contemporary healing practices. I’m interested in the intersection of personal and collective memory, and how creative practice can function as reflection, play, and embodied inquiry into human experience.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to further my training in expressive arts therapy as I prepare for graduate study, while developing community-based creative spaces through entrepreneurship. These would include Art & Wellness pop-up workshops and participatory environments centered on art as emotional expression, cultural memory, play and imagination, and collective care. My practice expands access to art as lived experience and social connection.
