I love to create because it helps me express and process what I can’t say, tell stories, and remind others that its okay to start afraid.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is character illustrations inspired by anime, games, and stories that I fell in love with. I enjoy bringing characters to life in my own way, especially through traditional mediums like pencils and paint. It feels like I’m connecting to something fun and creative, while growing into my own style.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the little things, whether it's in anime, stories, music, or from the people around me. A lot of it also comes from emotions, meaningful moments in my life, and the feeling of wanting to start again.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in building my art space and growing in my creative journey by investing in better materials, a dedicated studio, and tools to keep creating consistently. As well to use it to give back to my community by creating a safe, encouraging space for artists to grow, connect, and help start-kick their own art journeys. Becoming the service of others through art.
