Where do you find inspiration?In the materials. The potential of varying materials to perform in unconventional ways is what excites me. The meaning of the work however arrives subconsciously or with little to no thought as I work. It definitely has meaning, but contemplating it after thr fact is more of an act of reflecting upon my own psyche in the period of time in which it is created.
What would you do with $25,000?I would move to a safe and comfortable location, and work on designing efficient, beautiful, self sustaining community layouts with organic shapes, art installations, peace, safety, and xeriscaping that can serve as a blueprint for a better world. There are many techniques for vastly greater efficiency that simply are overlooked in modern home design.
