I create art, because I have to. I am a creator. I do not have a choice. After 49 years, and the past lives, I owe it to the child I was.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite types of art are painting with house paint on wood or canvas, and inking with black ink for comic books type of art. I also create worlds and write novels about them.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in conversations with my friends, who are the people I love. Also, in movies that I watch I’ll pause scenes “randomly” and that particular image will inspire me. All the art I grew up seeing and absorbing as a child, from Garbage Pail Kids, comic books, and graffiti art, are also within me and come out in my art.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I ll could take a mental breather from working the job I have now and concentrate on developing the projects I am working on. I don’t personally desire money for myself, but only the freedom it provides. It would also ease my family a little for me to take some time to create a better future for them.
