Art is healing. As a Lebanese immigrant who is driven by heart and connection, my love is for community and celebrating precious moments.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I have worked in jewelry design since 2017. It's one of my favorite type of art because it is so sentimental to the person getting and receiving the piece, whether it's an engagement ring, a spiritual pendant, a mother's birthstone ring. There are so many beautiful ways to create a piece intentionally and while telling a story.
Where do you find inspiration?Mother nature is filled, we just have to open our eyes and see. Also people are my biggest muses, their energy and stories, everyone has a background and getting to learn about that background is one of my biggest inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?I am a new business owner, I quit corporate so I can follow my dreams at creating fine jewelry pieces and celebrate precious moments. I have no investors, no partners and no safety net, $25,000 will allow me to run my business for an entire year. I am located in Kentucky at Mellwood Art Center. I would invest $12K to pay rent for the year. I would use $3-4 K on local marketing so I can be able to get out there and tell my story. $3K pay down business credit. $6K keep as cushion.
