I love landscape portraits as well as human portraits portrayed with somber color schemes and expressions. This is meant to settle in with comfortability. The viewer is left to question why and how humanity expresses themselves the way they do. I enjoy to create especially from movie scenes. Specifically I enjoy ballpoint pen the most. I hone in on color schemes, facial expressions, and movements to display emotions.

I find inspiration from the human experience. To me this means experiencing deep unsettling emotions that we all relate to. Music, Movies and literature all call to this somber feeling that hangs over my head. When i’m caught in an art form that captures these feelings I want to make it a moment forever. My goal is to show connection through the epidemic of loneliness and sorrow in hopes I can bridge the gap between myself and what makes me feel alienated, knowing I can’t be the only one.

Being gifted this would benefit me with pushing my career forward. My goal to be a tattoo and professional artist needs time and supplies. Im short on time and work very hard to keep up with expenses and general living. This could be my leg up to push my dreams and goals into reality. I know I will become an exceptional artist and use my gifts to benefit humanity regardless of how I get there. If I get this opportunity I will have the financial means I need to focus solely on my career.
