I have enjoyed sculpture, studied the human form and biomechanics, all in attempt to create the seemingly impossible.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Multi-faceted carbon fiber and/or polycarbonate / Copolymer plastic biomechanical art with integrated lights, sensors, and movement to simulate natural and or advanced human form. I had worked in the Orthotics & Prosthetics field as a Board Certified Orthotist. I now work Pratt & Whitney / Raytheon Technologies. In my spare time my Lab provides expression and enjoyment. I have worn several biomechanical outfits through the years, with my first in Hawaii, circa 1987. Thanks and best wishes! Eliot
Where do you find inspiration? The dynamics of the human form, strength, flexibility, 40+ years of Robotic development, and comparative physiology.
What would you do with $25,000?I would certainly take my whole family 4 adults and 1 lucky grandchild to Occidental @ XCARET Destination, 45 min South of Cancun for a wonderdul 2 week stay. I would purchase updated shop equipment, supplies, then with the remaining $4,000 estimated, would donate to St. Jude’s Cancer research foundation.
