I like creating Life size oil Paintings. I create abstract figurative and animal forms developed in the process of pushing and pulling the media for significant contrast and expressive qualities.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, ancient history for its forms and timeless texture and children's art. I am influenced by the abstract expressionist artist in the quick gesture drawing and layered paint this builds edges and line into the oil painting.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put it into the Symbolic Art Acct. to market my art further. I would like Exhibitions set up to get my paintings viewed. I will be 77 YO in June. I have a terminal cancer, Multiple Myloma, that I have worked around for 8 years. This money would help my son further the exposure of my work. Im so grateful to him.
