Life seems to try and take away time to create art. And I feel the most important time to create is when it feels the hardest to do so.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love working with un forgiving mediums. Every mistake becomes a beautiful accident, one actually meant to be. Like black ink on paper is where I started and now I love free handing pyrography. I pick up driftwood and stare into it. I see what it wants to become and there are no mistakes every line is placed where it is meant to be.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature, I love getting lost looking at small things like moss and bugs. My brain as in loves the repeating patterns. I have CPTSD, the complex patterns , the replication of the golden rule over and over is what I see out there, and it inspires me to create. Also the pain of watching a world I can not help. I feel every piece I create is a small help to someone. If it creates a spark of joy, comfort, inspiration, love what ever feeling my art may invoke In a soul that is my help.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy a new vehicle to travel to more places to share my art and collect things to make art along the way.
