I’m self taught & I love acrylic painting, especially abstract, culturally, & spiritually rooted. Mainly a bit of everything. Everything I have done is mostly personalized and free hand in my time. & Craft time to save time for moms & even photography/photoshoot on free budget using my cellphone for a lesser price.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is from my grandparents who ministry in God’s work over 50 years, my beloved father, & family & friends. Everyone who I cross paths with in life. Because of them, I choose to do better to represent those before & after me. The generation I grew up in, “I am more than my color” Is what I call it. Cause people see my neighborhood as ghetto, or graffiti is “bad” or only for guys can tag but using Graffiti in a positive set & mind opening with truth to reach out in bad neighborhoods.
What would you do with $25,000?Well, honesty I’m not in it for the money. Money helps everyone. I never entered into anything before. Never took an art class. I’m rich in God’s hands because he gave me everything, my husband and my kids. I’m not poor nor rich. Just at peace. But, if I still have to answer this question still, I would rather share the blessing. “Be bless to be a blessing to someone else.” I’m always giving because my grandparents are known for it. Giving back is everything. I’m alive and that’s enough for me.
