I scribble until it makes sense and I make sense out of scrap.

My favorite type of art to create is when it just comes from nothing. No inspiration. Just the need to create. It may be out of a need to fill a void or to get out of said void, or just to have busy work. This seems to be the creative space that I find myself lost in rather than working for a purpose. In regards to what medium, I really love to draw and always have, but I also really love metalwork/jewelry and sculpture. I find both to be very meditative.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration in uniqueness. Sometimes it’s considered a flaw, or an undesirable notion. I just appreciate what makes things genuine.
What would you do with $25,000?In all honesty and as generic as it is, I would finish “fixing up” my “fixer upper” that I have been “fixing” for what feels like an eternity. See if I can fall in love with it again or if it is time for it to be a new chapter for another soul. I also feel a deep need to treat my friends and family like royalty for a change. They have supported me and kept me humble through every bit of my roughest times. So I would like to share a good time with them just because I love my tribe so much.
