Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature—especially flowers and clouds. Their shifting moods, colors, and fragility invite me to explore resilience and beauty. Painting in oil lets me reflect and respond intuitively. My South African roots and personal experiences shape my art, with light and hope woven through each piece, even during difficult times. Each painting is a meditation on strength, transformation, and the enduring power of beauty.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I’d bring my dream to life—a vibrant art school where children, especially preschoolers and those with special needs, can create fearlessly. I’d build a sanctuary filled with colors, textures, and endless possibilities. Here, every child’s imagination is celebrated. The funds would let me craft a nurturing studio, supply inspiring materials, and support sensory needs. Workshops would be joyful journeys, making art a way of being, not just a subject.
