I am rediscovering my love of art and finding beauty in the imperfections.

I find peace creating charcoal drawings. The darkness of the medium while providing a realistic depiction I think is so amazing. You can create something as beautiful as a flower while the feelings that can emit is so vast.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes when I am experiencing crisis as the art helps me get lost and out of my head. The dark things don't feel like a weight on me pulling me down and I am able to pour that out onto a page or a canvas. Then after, I can return to that place and feel some kind of relief and sorrow for a moment that was here and passed.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to put investment in to some newer mediums I have not been able to work on and update my art space. The bulk of that will go towards nurturing the arts in my kids and what a powerful coping method it truly is. Our bodies can do amazing things, and creativity I believe is the most powerful as you can cause any person to feel how you feel and that somehow heals you.
