I create art to inspire others to create confidently. Art allows me to express myself unapologetically and to encouage others to do the same

My creations are always slightly experimental, yet tend to be 2D mixed media representations of an original character(s) portraying an emotion or action that is left open to interpretation for the audience. I use bright colors and bold lines to depict these characters in a friendly and relatable way. My favorite is creating a piece that is chaotic yet cohesive- art that can tell a story, or just be a fun piece of decor.
Where do you find inspiration?I find the most inspiration in my family & friends. They all have their own unique imaginations that encourage me, give me ideas, guide me and inspire me to create art that can give others that same feeling. The youth also heavily inspire me for the same reasons. I admire a child's lack of judgment or comparison when making art, they inspire me to create fearlessly, and to embrace my untamed imagination. I create cartoon artwork, unfiltered and unpredictable- I want to create like a kid!
What would you do with $25,000?I would pursue a full-time career as an art instructor & artist. I've been teaching youth art classes and have been building curriculums I'd like to offer to outreach centers, schools, group homes, etc. I intend to volunteer to teach these classes & provide supplies. Giving the youth oppurtunities to make art is a passion of mine, and this money would allow me to do it stress-free. I've seen what the kids in Saint Croix Falls are capable of, and I want them to keep creating!
