My first love will always be graphite pencils. They were where I started and bring me a lot of comfort when working on my pieces. However, I have the most fun with my oil paints because of there textures and layering.
Where do you find inspiration?My personal relationships, experiences, and perceptions drive a lot of my work. I really enjoy taking time out of my day to observe what’s around me and reflect on what it all means in relation to my own racing thoughts. Flares of motivation also come from fellow artists with their works.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I could do a lot. I would focus the money into my artistic pursuits, finishing out my education, and investing into my family.
