I paint to tell human stories and reveal the quiet emotions that live beneath the surface of everyday moments.

I create portraiture that captures what isn’t immediately seen; the quiet, emotional undercurrent beneath a person’s surface. I’m less interested in perfection and more in presence. My work lives in the tension between raw and refined, where the viewer can step into a moment and feel a sense of connection.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by the unnoticed. Subtle expressions, passing moments, and the way people exist within their environments. Travel has deepened my awareness of these nuances and how differently emotion can be expressed across place and culture. I’m drawn to what is often overlooked, where the most honest and human stories tend to live.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to expand my work in scale and depth, creating a new body of paintings centered on human connection across place and experience. It would also allow me to build out my studio and dedicate focused time to painting from life, pushing my work into its next chapter.
